Management of Potato Bacterial Wilt Disease Using Abiotic Treatments

Bacterial wilt disease caused by Ralstonia solanacearum (Smith) Yabuuchi is one of the most important bacterial diseases in world. This study aimed to test some chemical compounds such as bactericides that were applied control under artificial inoculation conditions and their effects on yield potatoes greenhouse conditions.In vitro, tested (Cefalexin, Gentamycin, Copper sulphate) inhibit growth R. solanacerum compared with treatment. sulphate was effective where Inhibition zone diameter 6.0 to7.4mm cefalexin gentamycin, 3.6 5.8mm respectively, but moderately 4.2 gentamycin less against pathogen. increased increasing concentrations compounds.
